Silencing the Keyboard Buzzer
The beeping or chirping sound made when the buttons are pressed on the keyboard can be silenced
at the user’s preference.
With the keyboard display showing:

button four (4) times until the display reads:
Buzzer on/off
1 = ON 2 = OFF
The buzzer can now be toggled by selecting
ON (1)
or
OFF (2)
as desired. Upon selection, the
keyboard returns to the ready state.

Selecting the Monitor Mode of Operation
With all other Kalatel units, there can only be a single keyboard connected at a time. But, with the
MMX-165C(x), there can be more than one keyboard connected, allowing control of the additional
monitors. This feature is implemented using the Monitor mode function described below.
