Before starting a telemetry connection, and connecting other optional accessory equipment to the
system, make sure the multiplexer, power, video, VCR, and monitor connections are completed, and
everything is working correctly.
Pre-wire the telemetry equipment according to the manufacturer’s instructions and specifications. Use
the internal diagnostic testing capabilities of the telemetry receiver (if any) to verify that the power and
the connections to the lens and motors are correct and functioning properly.
Also carefully and completely read the manuals for each piece of equipment before attempting to
install and connect the equipment.
Although the multiplexer is capable of powering a single keypad from the multiplexer internal power,
Kalatel recommends that the external power adapter, supplied with the unit, always be used. The
provision to supply power to the single keypad is intended for demonstration purposes only.
