➤ Fully de-pressurise all pressurised components and enclosures.
2. A shut-off valve must be installed by the user in the connection line.
3. Connect a flexible pressure hose.
6.5 Connecting the machine to the power supply
Precondition The power supply network is switched off,
the device is locked off,
the absence of any voltage has been verified.
1. The electrical connection must only be established by authorised installation personnel or an
authorised electrician.
2. Carry out safety measures as stipulated in relevant regulations (e.g. IEC 364 or
DIN VDE 0100) and in applicable national accident prevention regulations (BGV A3 in Germa‐
ny). In addition, observe the regulations of the local electricity supplier.
3. Test the overload protection cut-out to ensure that the time it takes to disconnect in response
to a fault is within the permitted limit.
4. Select supply cable conductor diameters and fuse rating in accordance with local regulations.
5. The user is required to fit the machine with a lockable power supply isolating device which
must comply with the requirements of EN60204-1:2006, 5.3.
This could be, for example, a load disconnect switch with fused input. If a circuit breaker is
used it must be suitable for the engine starting characteristics.
Machines with a total power rating of up to 3 kW and rated current of up to 16 amps may be
provided with a simple cable and plug power supply connection.
6. DANGER!
Danger of fatal injury from electric shock!
➤ Switch off and lock out the power supply isolating device and verify the absence of volt‐
age.
7. Connect the machine to the power supply.

6.6 Sound enclosure retrofit
The machine can be retrofitted with a sound enclosure.
The sound enclosure is supplied in pre-assembled condition.
If the machine and sound enclosure are delivered together, the machine might already be inside
the sound enclosure. Before installation, open the enclosure and take out the machine. Remove
the transport securing devices from inside the enclosure.
