6.1 Ensuring safety
Follow the instructions below for safe installation.

➤ Installation work may only be carried out by authorized personnel.

6.2 Reporting Transport Damage
1. Check the machine for visible and hidden transport damage.
2. Inform the carrier and the manufacturer in writing of any damage found.
6.3 Installing the options

6.3.1 Option rx, rw
Fastening a stationary machine
When stationary machines are ordered with bolt-down machine mounts (anti-vibration mounts), a
complete set of these bolt-down machine mounts are provided in a separate cardboard box. If the
machine mounts have not been purchased with the machine, you may separately order them from
KAESER.
Use bolt-down machine mounts to correctly fasten the stationary machine on the installation sur‐
face. These machine mounts, designed for the overall machine weight, also ensure a vibration-re‐
ducing positioning of the machine.
You may use machine mounts with or without rubber pads. When using machine mounts with rub‐
ber pads, take the changed height of the machine into consideration.
Bores for the fastening bolts of the machine mounts are provided in the frame or skid. See the cor‐
responding dimensional drawing in chapter13.3 to see the precise distances of the bores for your
machine.
Select the fastening bolts according to the properties of the installation surface.
