When the shutter mode is RANDOM
• CCD accumulation is performed in sync with the FREEZE input, and this period is output as
the FLASH signal.
• At the same shutter speeds the delay from the FREEZE input to the FLASH output is almost
uniform as shown in Table A below. Also, the pulse width of the FLASH output differs with the
shutter speed.
• The diagram shown below is the timing chart for the SXGA mode, meaning that the CCD OUT
and MONITOR OUT are synchronous. In the VGA mode, however, the MONITOR OUT timing
is asynchronous with the CCD OUT and WEN is not output.
• In the VGA mode, FREEZE input is not accepted until the FREEZE screen is completely
displayed on the monitor.
• Even in the SXGA mode, the FREEZE input interval is restricted as shown in Table B. Do not
input at a shorter interval than the minimum interval shown in the table.

MEMO
• If the shutter mode is set to RANDOM during the VGA DRAFT mode, it automatically switches to the
VGA FINE mode, and returns to the original when the shutter mode is again set to another setting
than RANDOM.
• In the condition where the shutter mode is RANDOM, the image quality may deteriorate at the time of
FREEZE as noise may be applied or white spots may appear.
