Outputting images from the memory to a printer
Use a compatible printer. (

It is possible to directly output images stored in the camera’s memory to a printer connected via
the SCSI terminal when in the FREEZE or PLAY mode.
Set to either the FREEZE (
page 36) or PLAY (
page 37) mode.
1.
Check to make sure that dip switches 1 and 2 are set to
OFF as shown in the diagram on the left (
page 38).
2.
Press the SEND button. The data will be sent to the
printer and a PRINTOUT ACCEPT message will ap-
pear for approximately 3 seconds on the monitor con-
nected to the MONITOR terminal.
At this time, SCSI output mark will appear.
3.
After data is successfully outputted to the printer, PRINT
OUT OK will appear for approximately 3 seconds.
4.
If data is not successfully outputted to the printer, one
of the following error messages will appear for approxi-
mately 3 seconds.

ERROR : PRINTER (printer error)

• Do not turn off the power of the main unit or other connected devices when the SCSI output mark is
displayed.
• Set the SCSI ID of the MO/Zip
®
drive or printer to other than 7.
• If both MO/Zip
®
drive and printer are connected to the SCSI terminal, select which source to output to
by selecting PRIORITY in the SYSTEM SETTING screen. (
Page 59; default setting: DISK)
• Do not connect devices other than printers MO drives and Zip
®
drive to the SCSI terminal since
correct output will not be achieved. In addition, the connectable number of devices are one printer
and one MO drive, or one printer and one Zip
®
drive.
