Safety devices and warning labels
Eye protection cover
This is a cover for prevent-
ing eye injury due to flying
pieces of button broken by
needle breakage.
Warning label against
pinching
This label indicates that
there is a risk of contact
between hands and fingers
and the button carrier.

The label gives

operating the
sewing machine.
Needle bar cover
This is a cover for pre-
venting contact between
the human body and the
needle bar.
Power switch
This is a switch for discon-
necting the power unit of
the sewing machine from
the power supply.
Power switch (EU type)

ing machine from
the power supply.
It is also used as
the emergency
stop switch.
Selection of the power switch
Use the IEC60204-1-compli-
ant power switch with rated
current of 20 A or more and
short-circuit breaking capac-
ity of 120 A or more, which
has the operating section in
red against the yellow back-
ground.
Belt cover
This is a cover for
preventing entangle-
ment of hands, hair
and clothes by the
V-belt.
Pulley cover
This is a cover for
preventing entangle-
ment of hands, hair
and clothes by the
V-belt.
Electrical-shock
danger label

In order to protect
against electrical
shock, safety pre-
cautions to be tak-
en to avoid danger
are written on this
label.
Looper cover
This is a cover for
preventing contact
between the human
body and the looper
section.
In addition, be aware that the safety devices such as the "eye protection cover" and "finger guard"
are sometimes omitted in the sketches, illustrations and figures included in the Instruction Manual
for the explanation's sake. In the practical use, never remove those safety devices.
