On the LEFT computer, there is
a single program running constantly: “JEOL Scanning
Electron Microscope”
. It is subdivided in three main parts as shown in
Figure 4
:
•
Top section:
menu bar & main buttons.
•
Middle section:
electron image display with grey buttons used to control the image
quality, and on the right side a snapshot image of the sample holder.
•
Bottom section:
instrument status (voltage, WD, spot size, etc.).
