WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) Settings-
Select
ON
to enable WPS connection for
2.4G wireless network. This feature is disabled by default.
Connect a client device to the router using WPS function:
1.
Make sure the WPS feature of both client device and router is enabled.
2.
Press the WPS/Reset button on the back panel of the router.
3.
Press and hold the WPS button of the client device.
4.
When the WPS LED indicator of the client device turns solid on, it has successfully
connected to the router.
Chapter 8 5G WLAN
There are 2 submenus under the 2.4G WLAN menu, clicking any of them enables you to
configure the corresponding functions.
8.1 Basic
Choose menu
“5G WLAN
→
Basic”
to configure the basic settings for the wireless network
of 5GHz.
Network Name
- The wireless network name (SSID) that the router uses. The
default SSID is set to be JCG-XXXX.
Hidden-
Select
ON
to hide your
wireless network from being detected by other
users. Select
OFF
the wireless router will broadcast its name (SSID) on the air.
