NOTE! You must place the guard so that the closed
part always points towards the operator.
Adjusting the wheel guard
1. Pull the quick release lever towards the outside to
enlarge the circular collar.
2. Turn the wheel guard to the desired angle and pull
back the quick release lever to lock the guard.
OPERATION
CAUTION! Never cover the air vents and keep them
open for a proper motor cooling.
Turning On/Off
Slide the On/Off switch forwards to turn the grinder on.
Slide the On/Off switch backwards to turn the grinder
off.
NOTE! The On/Off switch itself is also a safety lock bu
-
tton. If you slide the switch forward, press it downwards
on its front and release it, the switch automatically loc-
ks.
Operating instructions
• In general, keep the edge of the wheel at an an-
gle of about 30° for roughing and about 15° for
finishing.
• Do not overload. Only apply the necessary pres-
sure to avoid the grinder to bounce.
MAINTENANCE
• Keep the cutting tools sharp and clean.
• Periodically check the grinder for misalignments or
broken parts.
• Keep the angle grinder and its handle dry, clean
and free from oil and grease.
• Do not use cleaning products that may damage
plastic parts such as petroleum-based products or
any strong solvent.
• Clean the air vents only with compressed dry air
regularly.
• Only professional personnel must perform tool
maintenance.
