NOTE – Power supply cover is shown in the ‘down’ position for clarity
1. Mixer Drum
– Used to contain the feed
while it is cut and mixed by the vertical
augers.
2. Vertical Augers
– Used to mix the feed
within the mixer drum and to discharge the
feed through the unloading door.
3. Auger Knives
– Used to cut the feed
material as the augers rotate.
4. Auger On/Off Controls
– Each lever
controls an auger. Pushing the levers in will
start the augers rotating. Pulling the levers
back will stop the augers rotating.
5. Hydraulic Oil Reservoir/Cap
– Remove
this cap to add oil. Glass level sight on the
side of the reservoir indicates proper oil
level range.
6. Electric Motors
– Power machine.
7. Electronic Scale Indicator –
Displays the
weight inside the drum.
8. Unloading Door
– Door can be opened to
allow feed to be discharged.
9. Door Open/Close Control
– Used to
control feed discharge rate.
10. Hydraulic Oil Cooler Electric Fan
Override
– Normally, fan is activated by
internal temperature switch. However,
while the override button is pressed in the
fan will run. Test daily before feeding to
make sure cooler fan is functioning.
11. AC to 12VDC power supply
– Supplies
power to electronic scale system and
hydraulic oil cooler electric fan.
