1. Mixer Drum
– Used to contain the
feed while it is cut and mixed by the
vertical auger.
2. Vertical Auger
– Used to mix the feed
within the mixer drum and to discharge
the feed through the unloading door.
3. Auger Knives
– Used to cut the feed
material as the auger rotates.
4. Battery
– Provides power to the
electric engine starter, electronic scale
system, and auxiliary components (if
applicable).
5. Auger On/Off Control
– Standard
units use a lever valve to control the
auger on/off. When lever handle is
pushed upward, auger will begin
rotating. When lever handle is pushed
downward, auger will stop rotating. CE
units are controlled by an electronic
rocker switch with ‘on’ and ‘off’
positions installed at the same
location. For these units, switch must
be in the ‘off’ position before engine is
started.
6. Hydraulic Oil Reservoir/Cap
–
Remove this cap to add oil. Dipstick
indicates proper oil level range.
7. Door Open/Close Control
– Used to control
feed discharge rate.
8. Electronic Scale Indicator –
Displays the
weight inside the drum.
9. Unloading Door
– Door can be opened to
allow feed to be discharged.
10. Trailer Coupler
– Will couple to a standard 2
inch trailer ball hitch.
11. Trailer Jack
– Raises and lowers the height
of the trailer tongue and coupler.
12. Fuel Tank/Cap
– Remove this cap to add
fuel.
13. Engine Start Key

16. Foot Safety Switch
– Equipped on CE units.
When auger is rotating, the foot safety switch
must be depressed before unloading door is
opened. If not, auger will stop rotating. This
switch works in conjunction with ‘
