RS232 interface
The possible distance between two RS232 de-
vices depends on the used cable and baud rate.
As an estimation, for a baud rate of 9600 Baud,
a distance of 15m should not be exceeded
(maximum 30m).
The allowed ohmic load must be higher than
3kOhm and the capacitive load effected by the
cable must be smaller than 2500pF.
With the PC cable for the RS232 interface (2m)
(optionally available) the maximum baud rate is
38,4kBit/s.
