This command instructs the RAC-200
to print "Real-Time" without storing
any data in the RAC-200’s
memory. Use the following steps to produce output in a Real-time mode:
Step 1 Once this command is entered [d t mm.dd.yy] will be dis-
played representing the past date used. Key in the current date
using the proper format, such as 082100 for August 21, 2000,
then press ENTER.
Step 2 [i d] will then be displayed. This allows you to key in an iden-
tification number which could represent an operator code num-
ber or route number (6 digits maximum). Once the ID is en-
tered, press ENTER.
Step 3 The printer will then print a Header showing Date, Survey ID,
and identifiers for event, unit of measurement, time and unit of
speed. To collect data, press the C-HOLD key to release Count
Hold. As you see an event ahead of you, key in the appropri-
ate code number which will be shown on the two far left dig-
its. When you reach the event, press the ENTER key. (This is
the same procedure as described in the Memory Store section
on page 4-8.) The code number, distance, elapsed time and
speed will be printed but not stored in memory. There is no
limit to the number of events you can record. However, the
DPU printer does have a limit of about 3000 printed lines with
a fully charged battery. Continue this procedure until the sur-
vey is complete.
Step 4 To exit the real-time mode, press the C-HOLD key then the
PRINT key.
