RAC-100 and 200 User’s Manual
Key Functions: RAC-100
Your RAC-100 has been designed for simple operation using large indi-
vidual sealed keys which provide a Click and Tone feedback.
This is the slide switch which provides power to the RAC-100.
When turned on the RAC-100 will do the following:
1. Initiate internal Self Test sequence.
2. Display calibration number with a tone for 3 seconds.
2. Set itself in Count Hold (C.H with decimal flashing).
3. Set the unit to be used for measuring to the last unit used
when shut off.
4. Set itself to count UP.
5. Set the Distance Pulse Output interval to zero.
Pressing this key will start or stop the computation of distance
pulses. When in Count Hold, [C.H ] will be displayed on the
left digits with the decimal between C and H flashing. If Speed
is also being displayed, C.H is not shown. The speed drops to
"0" but the decimal is flashing. If C.H is displayed the DMI will
not count. Press C Hold and C.H will go off. The DMI will now
count as you drive.
Pressing this key will stop the display from counting while
internally the DMI will continue to accumulate distance. Once
pressed, [dH. ] is displayed on the far left digits with the deci-
mal to the right of the H flashing. If Speed is being displayed,
[dH. ] will not be shown but the decimal will be flashing.
Note: You cannot put the DMI in both Count Hold (C.H) and
Display Hold (dH.) at the same time. If the DMI is already in
Count Hold, it will ignore Display Hold and vice versa.
