Chapter 4 Measurement
■
4.1 Flow before measurement
● The flowchart below shows procedures for the measurement with a Mini Single Sheet Tester SY-956.

Startup → Measurement procedures

Startup power amplifier
Startup SY-956 (See sec. 4.4)
Connect the B-H Analyzer and a Mini
Single Sheet Tester SY-956 (See sec. 4.3)
Select POD
Select “SY-956 (Single Sheet)” under
Setting of Equipment > Pod on the
Configuration screen of the B-H Analyzer.

Select the single sheet testing mode
Select Sheet in the Mode menu of the B-H
Analyzer (See sec. 4.11)
Set up a sample on SY-956 (See sec. 4.8)
Measurement (See sec. 4.15)
Warm up for 30 min. or more
Startup the B-H Analyzer
Turn off the power amplifier
Power off the B-H Analyzer (See sec. 4.5)
Turn off SY-956
Confirmation of functions
Confirm that “Single Sheet” is Enabled
under Options on the Utilities screen of the
B-H Analyzer. (See sec. 4.9)
Wipe the pole faces of SY-
956’s
measuring yoke with a clean, soft, and dry
cloth.
* Please be careful not to cut your hand with the
edges of the pole faces.
Attach a B coil to SY-956 (See sec. 4.6)
