CALL HAND-OFF WITH MOBILITY KEY
The Call Hand-Off feature allows the seamless transfer of an active call from
an Iwatsu ICON Series IX-5930, IX-5910, or IX-5810 to another phone
(e.g., cell phone or another ECS extension) using the Mobility key. The
Mobility key will display up to eight selectable internal or external
destinations based on location settings defined in the Iwatsu Enterprise TOL
UC Client Manager.
Operation
While on a call (internal or external):
)
While the
Mobility
key is
flashing
(red or green),
press the
Mobility key
. The Enterprise TOL system will respond with
the Mobility key destination list that will appear on the ICON
Series telephone display
)
Non-Enterprise TOL transferred calls (i.e., Intercom, DID
calls) will light the Mobility key LED red (flashing red
LED). All calls that were trombone transferred via
Enterprise TOL will light the Mobility key LED green
(flashing green LED)
)
A maximum of eight destination names (eleven characters
or less) can be displayed
Note:
The source of the Destination List selections listed in
the ICON menu is based on the TO UC Client Manager
locations programming.
)
When one of the programmed Mobility destinations is selected,
the number will appear on the display and the menu will
change to
Now Transferring To
)
When the transfer is complete, Transfer Successful will appear
on the display
)
The menu will remain on display until the user presses the Exit
key, the menu inactive timer expires, or the Enterprise TOL
extinguishes the lamp
Operating Conditions
)
Hand-Off destinations are based on the location settings defined in the
UC Client Manager. No limit to the number of destinations
)
The Mobility key displays the locations that are programmed in UC
Client Manager on ICON Mobility key menu
)
Location with an active call is not displayed
)
The Mobility key Call Hand-Off feature is available from an Iwatsu
ICON Series (IX-5810, IX-5910, and IX-5930 only) telephone that has
a Mobility key programmed on the key pattern of the telephone
