Disassembly and Reassembly of Pump Unit
Before disassembly the pump unit, as a safety measure, turn the power off and lower the pressure in the pump to
atmospheric pressure. Then, remove the piping and disassemble the pump unit with reference to 'Names of Parts and
Structure of Pump' on page 53.

Replacement of Valve Sets

Removal of the discharge side valve

Loosen the fitting nut and detach the tube
connected with the pump, paying attention to
the residual liquid in the pump.
Warning
Some types of liquid may be harmful to the human
skin and pump parts. If your hand or parts of the
pump are exposed to the liquid, wipe it off
thoroughly.

Rotate the locknut counterclockwise while
lifting it up by hand and detach the air vent
unit A.

Loosen air vent unit B by means of a wrench
and detach it. Then, take the valve set out of
the pump head.

In the EH-B30, C30, C35 or FC type pump,
loosen the connecting port by means of a
wrench and detach it. Then, take the valve
set out of the pump head.

Removal of thesunction side valve set

Loosen the fitting nut and detch the tube.

Be careful of the residual liquid.

Loosen the fitting by means of a wrench and take the valve set out of the fitting.

If scratches or wear and tear are found in the removed valve set, replace it with a new one.
