Replacement of diaphragm
<Disassembly>

Set the stroke length adjusting dial at 100%.

Remove the pump head from the pump unit by loosening the four hexagon socket bolts with a hexagon bar wrench.

Hold the periphery of the diaphragm and rotate it
counterclockwise to detach it from the plunger
pin. (The diaphragm is screwed onto the plunger
pin.)

In some cases, a certain number of diaphragm
spacers are inserted behind the diaphragm and
the retainer for the purpose of positioning. Be
careful not to lose them when replacing the
diaphragm.
<Reassembly>
For reassembly, follow the steps of disassembly in
reverse, paying attention to the following.

Firtst, make sure that the stroke length of the
pump is set at 100%.

Start up the pump for setting the stroke length.
Then, stop the pump and turm the power off.

Insert the retainer and diaphragm spacer(s) onto
the threaded part of a new diaphragm and screw
the plunger pin into it.

Fit the concave side of the retainer onto the
threaded part of the diaphragm.

Attach the pump head(1) to the pump body by
tightening the hexagon socket bolt.
(Clampimg torque: 2.16N·m {22kgf·cm})
