Installation

Installation
Install the pump at a place where the ambient
temperature does not exceed 40ºC and the relative
humidity does not exceed 85%. (There should be no
dew condensation inside the control unit.) The place
should be convenient for future maintenance and
inspection. A sheltered location is recommended.
x
Place the pump as close to the suction tank as possible
so as to realize flooded suction piping (install the pump
at a lower level than the tank on the suction side).
c
Fix the pump firmly by means of m5 screws on a level
floor free from splashing liquid.
If the pump is inclined, the discharge may be decreased
or may even reach zero.
v
If the pump is used for a liquid that tends to generate air
bubbles (sodium hypochlorite, hydrazine solution, etc.),
make sure to install it in a cool, dark place away from
direct sunlight. When a tank, etc., is used, flooded
suction piping is required.
