Test run (air bleeding to adjustment of discharge)
When the pump installation, piping and wiring have been comleted and the operating procedure has been fully
understood, preparations for pump operation should be made bleeding the air and adjusting the discharge.

Air Bleeding
Operate the pump and feed the liquid to the pump unit for air bleeding.
Air bleeding means removing air trapped in the suction side tube and the pump head. When the pump is to be used for
the first time or the liquid tank has been replace, make sure to bleed air by following the steps described below.
Caution
Air bleeding requires some care as liquid splashes out of the discharge port of the air vent unit. Do not forget to connect
the tube to the air discharge port and return the air to the liquid tank, a drain plate, atc.
1. Operation
•
Starting up and stopping of pump ("MAN" control mode)

Turn the power on.

When power is applied, the ON lamp (green) lights and
"MAN" mode is established. (Upon initial power-up)

If "AUTO" is displayed, change "AUTO" to "MAN" by
pressing the
key while the
key is kept
depressed.

pump is in operation, press the
key to select
standby mode before changing to "MAN."

Every time you press the
key, "MAN" or
"AUTO" flashes alternately.
