• When battery pack is not in use, keep it away
from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins,
keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects,
that can make a connection from one terminal to
another. Shorting the battery terminals together
may cause burns or fire.
• Under abusive conditions, liquid may be
ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact
accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid
contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help.
Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation
or burns.
• Using an attachment and charger not
recommended may result in a risk of fire, electric
shock, or injury to people.
• Before screwing into a wall, in case of doubt
check with a metal/voltage detector that you are
not breaking into electricity, gas or water supply
lines.
• Before lay down the Screwdriver, make sure that
all moving parts have stopped.
• Avoid frequent stalling when screwing or drilling,
as this could damage the batteries.
• Only connect the charging device to an AC
supply.
• Charge Screwdriver battery only with the
appropriate charging device.
• The charging device and the Screwdriver must
be protected from moisture!
• Do not use the charging device outdoors.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Do not store or use the tool and battery cell
in locations where the temperature may reach
or exceed 39°C (such as outside sheds or metal
building in summer).
• Always charge the battery cell between
temperatures 0°C to 30°C. Ideal charging
temperature is 15°C to 25°C.
Unpacking
When unpacking, check to make sure that all
components are included. Refer to the drawings
on this manual. If any parts are missing or broken,
please call IVT assistance center.
Autolock
All the normal trade-standard drills and screwdriver
bits up to 10 mm diameter may be mounted into the
drill chuck. The tool is provided with a fast-action
drill chuck for fast changing of the attachments in
manual operation without the use of a chuck key.

Screwdriver tools
When using screwdriver bits , a bit holder should
always be used. Use only the screwdriver bits that
fit the screw head.
Initial operation
The battery in your new Drill/Screwdriver is not
charged when it leaves the plant. Therefore it
must be charged for 12 hours before using the
first time! The final capacity of the battery will be
attained after 4 – 5 charge/discharge cycles.
Insert the battery in the charger, make sure that
the polarization is correct (+/-)! While the battery is
being charged, the red light is on.
IMPORTANT:
If the red light does not light
immediately when a battery is inserted, which has
just been used, remove the battery and insert again
after a few minutes. The normal charging time lasts
about 3 – 5 hours. After this the charging device
ensures that the fully charged state is maintained.
The battery is protected from over-charging by a
thermal protection device - therefore it can remain
in the charging device for a long time (not more
than 24 hours, however) without suffering damage.
Heating of the battery and charging device to a
constant temperature is normal and not a sign of
a fault. A substantially shortened operating time of
the battery shows that it must be replaced.
Torque adjustment
The drill/Screwdriver has a step torque adjustment,
in order to avoid damage to the screw-heads or
