CLI Management using Telnet.
Users can use telnet to configure the
switches. The default value is as below:
IP Address:
192.168.10.1
Subnet Mask:
255.255.255.0
Default Gateway:
192.168.10.254
User Name:
admin
Password:
admin
Follow the steps below to access the console via Telnet.
1.
Telnet to the IP address of the switch from the Windows “
Run”
command (or from the MS-
DOS prompt).
2.
The Console login screen appears. Use the keyboard to enter the Console Username and
Password which is same as the Web Browser password (
admin
for both)
, then press “
Enter
”
