Compress and hold the elastomer

between the axle bracket

and the suspension base

7.
Insert the pivot pin

into the mounting hole

8.
Install the outer allen screw

into the pivot pin

.
9.
Use an allen wrench to hold the outer allen screw in position.
10. While holding the outer allen screw
A
, install the inner allen
screw
B
into the pivot pin
C
. Tighten securely.
11. Release when desired speed is achieved.
Replacing Front Elastomers
CAUTION!
–
DO NOT use excessive force when removing/installing
the threaded sleeve from/onto the fork. Damage to
the threaded sleeve may occur.
1.
Using two allen wrenches, turn in opposite directions and
remove one mounting screw

from fork
B
.
–
One mounting screw will not turn.
2.
Remove the threaded sleeve
C
and mounting screw assembly
from the fork
B
. DO NOT use excessive force.
3.
Remove the existing elastomer
D
from the fork
B
.
4.
Install new elastomer
D
determined in STEP 1 into fork
B
.
5.
Align the mounting holes in the upper and lower portion of the
fork
B
.
6.
Reinstall threaded sleeve
C
and mounting screw assembly. DO
NOT use excessive force.
CAUTION!
–
Use Loctite 242™when reinstalling the mounting
screw
A
into the threaded sleeve
C
, otherwise
the fork
B
can become disassembled. Possible
injury or damage could occur.
7.
Apply Loctite 242 to the mounting screw
A
.
8.
Reinstall the mounting screw
A
into the threaded sleeve
C
and
tighten securely.
