Loosen the locknuts and hex/allen screws

that secure the
High/Low mount wheel locks

to side frame

2.
Perform one of the following:
•
Replacing the High/Low Mount Wheel Lock

:
a.
Remove the locknuts and hex/allen screws
A
and
remove existing wheel lock
B
from the wheelchair.
b.
Install the new wheel lock
B
and adjust.
•

Wheel Lock Adjustment
a.
Measure the distance between the wheel lock shoe

and the rear wheel
E
.
b.
Slide the wheel lock
B
along the wheelchair until the
measurement is between 5/32 and 5/16-inches (0.4 and
0.8 cm)

c.
Tighten the wheel lock
B
to the wheelchair frame
C
.
d.
Repeat this procedure for the opposite wheel lock
B
.
e.
Engage the wheel locks
B
and push against the
wheelchair to determine if the wheel locks
B
engage the rear wheels enough to hold the occupied
wheelchair.
3.
Repeat STEPS a-e until the wheel locks
B
engage the rear wheels

enough to hold the occupied wheelchair.
