XON/XOFF software protocol
This protocol allows the host to control the flow of data from the MicroBar NX.
To interrupt reception of data, the host transmits the XOFF character (ASCII DC3) after the
specified timeout (
Ð
RS-232 - Hardware/software protocols timeout). To restart the flow, it
sends the XON character (ASCII DC1).
When XON/XOFF is active, the MicroBar NX beeps after transmission when there is a good
read. You must change this parameter if you want Beep Before Transmission (
Ð
Beeps /
Indicator LED - Timing of good read beeps ).
XON/XOFF is exclusive with the ENQ/ACK/NAK and RTS/CTS transmission protocols.
