Installation procedure

The

MicroBar NX Installation Guide tells you step by step how to install and set up your

MicroBar NX to operate successfully in most working situations.

General installation / configuration procedure

1. Check you have everything you need (

Product checklist).

2. Switch off the host system and connect up your MicroBar NX

(

Connection for your interface).

3. Switch on the host system.

4. Scan the interface number for your host system (

Predefined

interface numbers for your interface or Compose interface number).

5. Customize the data transmission settings for your interface if

required.

6. Customize the settings for output transmission to your host system if

required (

Data transmission parameters for your interface).

Customize the data input parameter settings if required
(

Symbologies, Laser scanner input devices, Magstripe input

devices,

RS-232 input devices).

8. Customize the MicroBar NX operating settings if required
