6820 Series 80-Column Printer User’s Manual

Check List

Make sure the following tasks are done:

Printer is unpacked.

Foam blocks are removed from around the printer. Save the box and
packaging materials for future use, such as servicing, relocations, etc.

Twist tie is removed from the print head.

Power cable is hooked up to the vehicle battery or power source.

Printer is mounted in the vehicle.

The following tasks must be done.

Specific instructions for these tasks are

described on the pages given

Connect the battery (page 15).

Install the ribbon cartridge (page 16).

Load the paper into the paper tray (page 18) and into the printer (sever-
al steps starting on page 20).

Insert the mobile computer (page 23).

Note

: Complete these tasks

before

starting any printer operations.
