Installing the hard disks

Install other hard disks following step 2.

Insert the hard disk data cable and power cable, then put on the upper cover and fasten the
fixing screws.

Install Eight Hard disks
Step 1
Remove the screws for fixing the upper cover and take down the cover.
Step 2
Unscrew the screws on both sides and the upside of the upper bracket respectively, lift the
upper bracket, as shown

Step 3
Put the hard disk under the lower bracket, hold the hard disk with one hand and aim the
hard disk hole at the bracket hole, then fix the screws for hard disk, as shown in Figure 3-
Step 4
Pull down upper bracket and screw it, then install other hard disks in upper layer
following step 3, as shown in the right figure in Figure 3-6.
