Probe and Tubing Clean
This clean runs a sequence of Decon, Cleaner and Water through the probe and tubing using the solutions on the
sampling deck. This clean should be used any time where you suspect clogging or contamination in the probe and
tubing, for example, when the Daily QC water test returns a higher than normal result. You can customize the dura-
tion of the clean from 4 minutes to 32 minutes using the Probe and Tubing Clean Duration slider. The default is a 20
minute clean consisting of five minutes of Decon, five minutes of Cleaner and ten minutes of water.
Detector Quick Clean
This clean is used clear deposits and air bubbles in the flow cell and internal Detector tubing using the fluids from
the bottle station. Use this clean after the instrument has been idle for a short period of time. This clean takes about
eleven minutes.
Detector Long Clean
This clean is used to thoroughly clear deposits adhered to the surface of the flow cell and internal Detector tubing
using the fluids from the bottle station. Use after heavy usage or a long period of inactivity. This clean takes about
thirty minutes to run.
