Using Cartridges
1.
For a Markers cartridge, shake vigorously before use. For the other cartridges, DO NOT shake.
2.
Pierce the foil with a pipette tip in the circle indicated following the instructions included with the cartridge.
CAUTION
Do not pierce the cartridges with the contact sensing probe as this may damage
the probe.
3.
Install the cartridge in the appropriate slot.
Note: If there is fluid left over in a cartridge at the end of the day, reseal the cartridge with laboratory parafilm and
store at 2–8° C for up to a week.
Using Troughs
1.
Manually prepare the required solution using the appropriate concentrate.
2.
Empty and thoroughly clean or replace the trough.
3.
Fill to a point no higher than 14 mm above the “V” of the trough.

Max Fill for Troughs
NOTE
Dirty fluid troughs are a common source of contamination. Replace troughs as
needed and always use fresh fluids.
CAUTION
Overfilling troughs may cause contact sensor faults and cross-contamination.
