Intel Server Board SDS2 Product Guide 

4.  Before inserting the retention clip into the heat sink slot, make sure the plastic pin (see 

1

 below) 

is aligned with the heat sink notch (see

 below).  Align the notched side of the heat sink 

(see

below) with the edge of the socket containing the “PG370” designation (see

 below) 

and place onto the processor as shown.
