Cleaning and disinfection
Instramed recommends cleaning and disinfecting the equipment and its accessories
every three months, or shorter periods whenever excessive dirt or contamination is
noticed.
Equipment:
• Disconnect the unit from the mains before cleaning.
• Clean the outside of the machine with a cloth moistened with neutral soap and
water or isopropyl alcohol.
• Rub the surface to be cleaned for about 5 minutes.
• Perform the procedure at room temperature.
Important recommendations:
• Never immerse the equipment in liquid.
• Avoid using abrasive in the film on the display.
• Do not use strong solvents containing acetone or that are enzymatic.
• Do not spill liquid of any kind on any part of the equipment.
ATTENTION: NEVER sterilize any part of the equipment and its
accessories through the sterilization by heat method, as for example,
using autoclave. This process would damage the mechanical structure
and would compromise the equipment working.
The above recommendations ensure that the device will support, without damage or
deterioration of safety factors, the cleaning and disinfection process necessary.
Connection to other equipment
When connecting the Eazy PRO to any device, ensure that the equipment is
operating correctly before clinical use. The equipment or accessories connected to
the device must be certified according to the IEC 950 standard for data processing
equipment.
