Click the
icon on the navigation bar.
2.
Click the SMTP link under the System menu in the left panel. The SMTP configuration screen
appears (see Figure 7.1).

Configuring SMTP
To configure your SMTP server, follow these steps:
1.
Enter your name the way you want it appears on the screen in the Your Name field.
2.
Enter your email address in the E-mail Address field. An email alert will send to this email
account when you have received new voice mails or there is new firmware updates.
3.
Enter the SMTP server IP in the SMTP Server field.
4.
Enter the SMTP Server Port in the SMTP Server Port field. The default is 25.
5.
Check the option box if the server requires an encrypted connection (SSL). Your Internet service
provider should provide you the information.
6.
Check the option box if your outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. Your Internet
service provider should provide you the information.
