If you don’t use 350 mm diameter blade you have to change the position of the safety screw of downfeed stroke (
it assure that the blade can’t cut the machine base).
The screw is fixed near the lowering pin-; look for it and move it if your blade is less 350 mm dia.
Take in accout the blade cover cannot moves completely aroun the blade in these case.
Every time you change the diameter of blade check this safety position by move down the head, while blade
doesn’n rotate.
15.3 - LOCKING / EMERGENCY LOCKING
It is possible to stop the cycle in each moment::
a) By pushing the button ( O ) CYCLE STOP the machine working stop is immediate, but there is the possibility to start
other commands, for example for changing the kind of cycle or the blade’s speed;
b) By pushing the emergency button the stopping is immediate but it is not possible to start other commands before
resetting it.
c) By using the general switch - pos. 2 /dr. RIO346- you can cut of the current from the machine.
d) By opening the feeder guard, one positive stroke end stops the command circuit by provoking the stop of the
movements.
P.S. : a special temporized interlocking device (connected to control circuit) make impossible to open the entirely cover
guard of machine until blade is stopped - rundown time is about 20 seconds.
e) In case of electricity interruption the general switch - pos. 2 /dr. RIO346 - return on position 0 and it is necessary to reset
it again, if you want the machine starts again.
f) each time you finish the material to cut, a stroke end stops the automatic cycle .
N.B. The stops like b) and e) stops the supply of compressed air too. If you want to activate it again, you have to
push “ M “ button -pos.20/RI0305- on the control panel.
15.4. - - HEAD ROTATION FOR OBLIQUE CUTTING
For cutting in the semiautomatic cycle it is possible to rotate the cutting unit from 45 deg. right to 45 deg. left -
The cuts in the automatic cycle are possible only from 0 to 45 deg. left
Two adjustable mechanical stroke ends make the positioning easier and safer on the angles that are mostly used.
Loosen the side handle -, rotate the worktable by using the handle on the saw head- till the required angle that you can
read on graduated scale and then block the side handle-.
Slide the front vices- to avoid that they goes under the cutting line and/or interferes with the blade.
This model has automatic stops on the positions 0, 15, 30, 45 deg. right and left disconnectable by pulling the
lever of the frontal device outside pos. 13 /dr. RIO165.
15,6 - HEAD INCLINATION
It is possible to cut in the semiautomatic and automatic cycle also at 45 deg. from the vertical. If you want to do so, you
have to block the rotation of the worktable at 0 deg. by using the handle - pos. 11/dr. RIO165 -, unscrew the big nut - pos. 1
/dr. R0073 - and the screw - pos. 2 /dr. RIOO73 -, tilt the cutting unit to the left till you can read the chosen angle on the
graduated scale - pos. 3 / dr. RIOO73 -. Then screw the nut with the screw and lock them fest.
N.B.: If you want to reach the maximum inclination you have to take away the vertical vice.
