cable connections to the laser are secure enough to avoid intermittent open-circuit
conditions should they be jostled or bumped.

Use appropriately-shielded cabling to reduce coupling of potentially laser damaging
transients. Do not bundle the current source cables with other cables in your system or
laboratory.
