11.2. iPump A 3-11 with direct heating circuit, cooling, hot water circulation and one mi-
xer heating circuit
The iPump A 3-11 is a heat pump with inverter technology for continous power control. Therefore it is possible
to provide direct heating circuits. An over
fl
ow valve must be installed in the direct heating circuit to guarantee
a minimum
fl
ow. Thereby the clocking of the heat pump can be avoid. When using a direct heating circuit, 25
% of the zones have to be open permanently. Optional it is possible to realise as a secound heating circuit a
mixer heating circuit. If a mixer heating circuit is con
fi
gured in addition to the direct heating circuit, in the direct
heating circuit a heating circuit pump (M32) must be installed. The pump supports the heating circuit B in case
of a simultaneous request of both heating circuits.
In heating systems with the single-room control NAVIGATOR Pro no zones need to remain open! The safety
group and the expansion tank must be installed on heating side. As shown in the scheme, it is possible to
install an optional circulation for the hot water circuit. It is possible to cool with the iPump without a cooling
buffer. For dew point control, a room humidity sensor must be installed and a dew point monitor must be placed
on the
fl
ow pipe in the heating circuit manifold!
