11.1. iPump A 3-11 with direct heating circuit and hot water circulation
The iPump A 3-11 is a heat pump with inverter technology for continous power control. Therefore it is possible
to provide direct heating circuits. An additional pump and a mixer for the heating circuit is not necessary. An
over
fl
ow valve must be installed in the direct heating circuit to guarantee a minimum
fl
ow. When using a direct
heating circuit, 25 % of the zones have to be open permanently. In heating systems with the single-room control
NAVIGATOR Pro no zones need to remain open! The safety group and the expansion tank must be installed
on heating side. As shown in the scheme, it is possible to install an optional circulation for the hot water circuit.
The connection on drinking water side must be made according to the relevant standards and regulations (such
as DIN1988 and DIN4753). In the cold water line a safety valve and a back
fl
ow preventer must be installed.
