81 AUTOMATIC AIR VENT REPLACEMENT

82 WATER PRESSURE SWITCH REPLACEMENT
1.
Refer to Frame 60.
2.
Remove the boiler casing.
Refer to Frame 53.
3.
Drain the boiler. Refer to
Frame 72.
4.
Disconnect the flexible hose
from the expansion vessel.
Release the expansion
vessel retaining bracket,
allowing the vessel to be
removed to gain access to
the air vent.
5.
Unscrew the air vent from
the boiler flow boss.
6.
Fit the new air vent,
complete with 'O' ring
provided, and re-assemble
in reverse order.
IMPORTANT.
Ensure that
the vent cap is loose (A).

Refer to Frame 60.
2.
Remove the boiler casing. Refer to
Frame 53.
3.
Remove the boiler sealing panel.
Refer to Frame 54.
4.
Remove the fan assembly. Refer to
Frame 55.
5.
Drain the boiler. Refer to Frame 72.
6.
Drain the boiler heat exchanger.
Refer to Frame 84.
7.
Disconnect the electrical leads from
the pressure switch.
8.
Unscrew the switch from the boss in
the bottom of the heat exchanger
and withdraw it from the boiler.
9.
Fit the new switch, using a suitable
jointing compound, and re-assemble
in reverse order.
10.
Check the operation of the boiler.
