Cloning items
Clone is a simplified version of the Copy & Paste function. It only functions within a single
message and will only paste once. Clone creates an item with the same properties as the original
item except for name, position and size.
To clone an item, follow these steps:
1-
In the message editor, select an item and the button named “Clone” will be available.
2-
Tap on the
button.
3-
Select the canvas mode to create the cloned item and the cloned item will be created.
NOTES
:

To Copy & Paste when using the PC Software, right click to
“COPY & PASTE”.
Alternatively, use the keyboard commands - Ctrl + C to copy and Ctrl + V to paste.

The HMI only stores one copied item. If another item is copied, the previous one will
be replaced. Also, the copied item will be lost when the HMI power is removed.
NOTE
: The clone function is only available to clone a selected item in the current message.
It will not be retained in order to paste in another message.
