THE THERMAL IMAGER NEEDS SUFFICIENT TIME TO WARM-UP FOR THE MOST
ACCURATE TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENTS AND BEST IMAGE QUALITY.
THIS TIME CAN OFTEN VARY BY ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS. IT IS BEST
TO WAIT A MINIMUM OF 5 MINUTES FOR THE DEVICE TO COMPLETELY
WARM-UP. DO NOT OPERATE THE CAMERA DURING STARTUP.
8-2 Power On/Off the Device
To power the device on, push and hold the Power button for 3 seconds. The
power indicator light will flash red and green and an ICI logo will display on
screen while an internal motor begins to cool the infrared detector; it produces a
continuous humming noise which is normal.
It takes ~5 minutes for the heads-up display to load. The power indicator light
will turn green and the motor noise will dim slightly when the device is ready to
begin taking measurements.
To power the device off, push and hold the Power button until the motor and
screen both power off.

AFTER POWERING OFF, WAIT TEN SECONDS BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO
POWER THE DEVICE ON AGAIN.
DO NOT USE THE CAMERA IN HIGH-TEMPERATURE CONDITIONS MORE THAN
350 °C, DAMAGE TO THE CAMERA MAY OCCUR.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SHUT OFF THE DEVICE WHILE IT IS IN START UP MODE.
SHUTTING DOWN THE DEVICE DURING START UP MAY DAMAGE THE BOOT
SEQUENCE OF THE DEVICE. CALL CUSTOMER SUPPORT IF THE DEVICE FAILS
TO REACH THE HEADS-UP DISPLAY INTERFACE AFTER 15 MINUTES.
A CONTINUOUS MOTOR SOUND WILL BE EMITTED FROM THE DEVICE WHEN
IT IS POWERED ON. THIS SOUND IS NORMAL.
