Command “ n ” (lowercase N)

This command performs a 1-Wire® bus “next” operation for some LINK
TM
devices. This
operation searches the bus and returns the next 1-Wire® or iButton® device. It then displays the
device serial number prefixed with a single character to indicate if there are more (“ + ”) or no
more (“ - ”) parts remaining to be found. An example of this can be found in Figure 15.
If this command is used again after a “ - ” response is received, this command will find the first
part again.
If locator reporting is turned on, the device serial number should be followed by a comma and
the serial number of the LinkLocator associated with the 1-Wire® device.
If an “ \f ” (family search first command) is in progress, “next” may return a “?” if encountering
a family code overshoot.
