The SEND DIAGNOSTIC command requests the drive to perform its self-diagnostic test or to perform a
function based on a page of information sent in a Data Out phase during the command.

PF (Page Format) bit set to one indicates the data sent by the Initiator conform to the page structure
as specified in SCSI-2 standard. This bit must be set to one if the SlfTst bit is set to zero. This bit is
ignored by the Target if the SlfTst bit is set.
Ÿ
SlfTst set to one indicates that the device performs its internal self test when Function code field is
000b. If set to zero, the content of Function code is specified in Function code field values.
