Idle Condition Timer
and the corresponding
Idle
control bit is accepted. Despite
this, the drive does not alter the internal power saving algorithms based upon this value.

Standby
bit of one indicates that the target shall use the
Standby Condition Timer
to determine
the length of inactivity time to wait before entering the Standby condition. A standby bit of zero
indicates that the target shall not enter the Standby condition.
Ÿ
Standby Condition Timer
field indicates the inactivity time in 100 millisecond increments that the
target shall wait before entering the Standby condition. The minimum allowable inactivity time is 60
minutes. Any value less than this is accepted, but will automatically default to 60 minutes.
