For Windows NT:
To start the ThinkPad Configuration program for Windows NT, do as
follows:

Click Start at the bottom corner of the screen.

Move the cursor to Settings; then click Control Panel.
The “Control Panel” window appears.

Double-click the ThinkPad Configuration icon.
The following window appears:

The One-Touch Setup buttons. Click one of these buttons to
set the system configuration.

The Power Mode buttons. Click one of these buttons to set
the power mode to High Performance mode, Automatic mode,
or Customized mode.
