Pull
out
and
lift
up
on
the
heat-sink
locking
lever
to
open
the
heat
sink
retention
bracket.

Make
sure
that
the
lever
is
fully
extended.
c.
Remove
the
protective
plastic
cap
from
the
bottom
of
the
heat
sink.
Notes:
1)
Do
not
set
down
the
heat
sink
after
you
remove
the
protective
plastic
cap.
Thermal grease

2)
Do
not
touch
the
thermal
grease
on
the
bottom
of
the
heat
sink.
Touching
the
thermal
grease
on
the
bottom
will
contaminate
it.
If
the
thermal
grease
on
the
heat
sink
becomes
contaminated,
contact
your
service
technician.
d.
Position
the
heat
sink
over
the
microprocessor
and
slide
one
of
the
tabs
on
the
heat
sink
into
the
slot
under
the
retainer
spring.
