5. The SELECT BOOT (STARTUP) DEVICE menu appears, which is similar to the
following:

Select the device to BOOT (Startup) this machine.
WARNING: If you are using Token–Ring, selection of an
incorrect data rate can result in total disruption of the
Token–Ring network.
”==>” Shows the selected BOOT (startup) device
==> 1. Use Default Boot (Startup) Device
2. Token–Ring: Slot 3, 4 Mb data rate
3. Token–Ring: Slot 3, 16 Mb data rate
4. Ethernet: Slot 4, 15–pin connector

Type the number for your selection, then press ”ENTER”
(Use the ”Backspace” key to correct errors)
6. Select the device to boot from. For example, choose

to boot from Token-Ring: slot 3,
16 Mb data rate. A screen similar to the following will appear:

(Optional, required if gateway used)
