Step 3 - Define to CICS or another application program
An application program must provide the SCS commands to control the
printer. CICS, VPS, and other applications support SCS as well as numerous
application programs, both customer written and vendor supplied. Refer to the
vendor documentation for defining an SCS printer to the program for its use. If
there is no specific information on the 6400 you may use the IBM 4234 for
reference.
Step 4 - Printer Settings
It is recommended that the following printer settings be changed from factory
default settings:
