General safety regulations regarding maintenance
Protective equipment to
be worn
Use protective equipment that is:
• Suitable for the operations to be carried out;
• Resistant to the cleaning products used;
• Tightly fitting (for clothes);
• Avoid ties, necklaces or belts, which could get caught up in the
moving parts.
ATTENTION
When necessary, tie up your hair in a suitable manner to avoid it
getting caught up in the moving parts.
Regulations for
authorised personnel
Every maintenance intervention must only be carried out by authorised
personnel, who must:
Affix the special "MACHINE MAINTENANCE IN PROGRESS" signs;
Guarantee the safety of the operators;
Avoid any damage to the machine;
Restore the efficacy of the units involved in the intervention, and
any safety devices that have been disabled.
Regulations for
personnel not
authorised to
carry out
maintenance
Unauthorised personnel must observe the following rules:
Avoid activating or tampering with the control equipment or tools on
the machine without knowing how they work;
Keep away from the machine during maintenance or
repair operations.
Regulations for
restarting the
machine
At the end of the maintenance operations, and before restarting the machine,
you must check that:
Any replaced parts and/or tools used for the intervention have been
removed from the machine;
All the safety devices are working properly.
Regulations for the
authorised head
At the end of the maintenance operations, the machine can only be restarted
after the OK of the head, who must check that:
The work has been carried out correctly and completely;
The machine is working perfectly;
The safety systems are activated;
Nobody is operating the machine.
