Scrapping and disposal
Safety regulations
ATTENTION
Before beginning the disassembly operations, create a space around the
machine sufficient to allow all necessary movements without any risks from
the surrounding environment.
Observe the provisions imposed by current laws and authorities in the
country of scrapping.
Characteristics of the
construction materials
With regards the scrapping and disposal of the machine, remember that the
materials forming it are not of a dangerous nature and are, basically:
• Iron, steel;
• Electrical cables with their relative sheaths;
• Flexible nylon tubes;
• Rubber gaskets.
Disposing of used oil
ATTENTION
Used oil must be disposed of in accordance with the
regulations in force.
In any case, it is absolutely forbidden to deposit it in the
environment, where it may pollute the groundwater table and
the land.
Authorised personnel
The machine must be scrapped by specialised (electrical and mechanical)
personnel.
Preliminary operations to
be carried out
Before scrapping, you must:
• Disconnect the machine from all energy sources;
• Disconnect the electrical cables leading to the
disconnecting switches;
• Disconnect the power supply cables of the electric panels.
ATTENTION
If there are wet areas around the machine, dry them before
moving on to the next operations, to avoid any risk of slipping
or falling.
Macro operations to be
carried out
Proceed as follows:
• Disassemble the electric boxes;
• Disassemble the main parts of the machine;
• Separate the machine parts according to their type (e.g. metals,
plastics, etc.) and send them to the authorised differential waste
collection centres;
• Proceed with scrapping, in compliance with the laws in force.
